Agriculture futures, livestock prices drop

CHICAGO (AP) — Agriculture futures dropped in early trading Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery lost 13.25 cents to $4.82 a bushel, while December corn shed 6.5 cents to $3.225 a bushel. November soybeans tumbled 28.5 cents to $9.825 a bushel, and oats for December delivery fell 2 cents to $2.23 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle slid 0.33 cent to 86.37 cents a pound; October feeder cattle dropped 0.55 cent to 97.50 cents a pound; October lean hogs fell 0.17 cent to 47.90 cents a pound; and February pork bellies shed 0.80 cent to 75.70 cents a pound.
